WOMAN’S HEAD SMASHED IN. By Telegraph--Press Association —Copyright Melbourne, Sept. 2. A woman named Eiizaboth Johnson was found dead in a hovel in Ballarat East with her head terribly smashed. Henr Slovens, with whom she lived, has been arrested on suspicion of murdering her.
