I The wonderful popularity everr- : where achieved by Mr George Wil- ■ loughhy and his popular London ■ Company in the great farcical suc- > cess s , “ The Wrong Mr Wright,” assures a record attendance at the Theatre Royal this evening.; Since the season ends to-morrow, * a few words on Tuesday’s attraction; Will doubtless be read with Interest. “ ON AND OFF.” Messrs Willoughby and Geach pro-’ niise a complete change to-morrow evening, when the very latest London .and Parisian success, entitled “ On and Off,” from the versatile pen of F. C. Burnand, the famed editor of London Punch, who is also author of *' The Lady of Ostend. Both have been entirely successful, and have been presented by companies of considerable standing in Australia. Burnand\s genius in this direction has been displayed in a very acceptable form in both instances. “On and Off ”is bright and clever. It is ingenious throughout, the movement and story offering continuous laughable scenes, while the dialogue bristles with smart witticisms. There is much genuine comedy in “ On and Off.” In any case, it is a very glorified farce of the most welcome type. And in the manner of its presentation it loses nothing in the hands oi Mr Willoughby and his Company. Played with a spirit and dash from the outset, the complications which invariably supply the movement in .farcical comedy are so woven as to provide situations fraught with diverting humor i« rapid succession,*
