INJURED MEN PROGRESSING FAVORABLY.
By Telegraph—Press Association. Lyttelton, last night. Edgar, chief refrigerating engineer of the Corinthic, and two greasers named Daniel Callaghan and William Curl, who were burned about the face, hands, and arms by a gas explosion in the refrigerating department on board when coming from Wellington on Friday afternoon, are doing fairly well. Callaghan is the worst injured, being terribly burned on the arms and head.
