NEW ZEALAND GRAND LODGE

The semi-annual communication of the New Zealand Grand Lodge of Freemasons was held to-day. G.M. Bro. Russell presided, and thore was a failattendance of delegates. The summary of the Grand Lodge funds shows that the balances-on September 30th were : General fund, £790 11s 7d ; fund of benevolence, .£2227 18s 6d ; Masonic widows’ and orphans' fund, £d7s 10s 9d; aged and indigent members fund, £4089 10s 4d. The Grand Master mentioned that nothing of importance had transpired during the year. It was stated that Bro. H. J. Williams, P.D.G.M., Wellington, would probably be the next Grand Master.
