MAORI ALL BLACK CAPTAIN UNABLE TO TAKE PLACE IN TEAM
(P.A.) WHANGAREI, July 25.
The Northland Rugby back. J. B. Smith, will not be playing with the New Zealand Maori team against Manawatu on Saturday or against the British Isles on August 2. The shoulder that ,he dislocated during the British Isles-North-land match last week is still sore and Smith will not be fit. Smith was to have been captain of the Maori team.
