Japan's textile industry should be allowed to expand its production, the Senate Judiciary Sub committee recommended today after a two day ingThe sub-committee urged the United States to approve of a Japanese application for an increase of 800.000 spindles. This would help to make Japan mure self-supporting through larger textile exports. It would also lessen the American taxpayers’ contribution to Japanese economy.
