(10 a.m.) LONDON, June 23. At least three babies arc being born daily aboard the Royal Mail liner Atiantis as it crosses the Indian Ocean, says the Daily Express. By the time its voyage is over, it is estimated that it will “chalk-up” nearly B(Knew arrivals. The Atlantis is bringing home Dutch servicemen and their families from the Far East. The crew set up a scoreboard with separate columns for boys and girls, taut expectant fathers soon became anxious as they passed the board, so the crew moved it to their quarters. The ship sailed from Indonesia on June 11 and by’midnight on June 15 12 boys and four girls had been born. One boy was born 10 minutes after the mother came aboard. The ship is due to dock at Amsterdam early next month.
