SOVIET TEXTBOOKS FOR RED CHINA
(10 a.m.) LONDON, June 23. A New China news agency message received in London reported that the Education Minister, Mr. Ma Hsu-Lun, told a higher education conference in Peking that Russian textbooks would be translated into Chinese for use as “our main reference books.” He added that experienced intellectuals would be sent to the Soviet Union for further education to solve the problem of the shortage of teachers.
