SEDGMAN UPSET IN LONDON TENNIS TOURNEY

The American fourth ranking player, Art Larsen, defeated Australia's No. 1 player, Frank Sedgman, in the men’s singles semi-finals of the London tennis championships at Queen’s Club today. Sedeman was suffering from a strained wrist, which forced his withdrawal from the men's doubles. Sedgman will play his first-round match in the Wimbledon championships which begin on Monday, but it is un’ikel.v he will be able to continue in (he tournament unless his wrist quickly responds to treatment.
