Dog Likes To Ride Tricycle
Boss, an 11-ycar-old cocker spaniel owned by Mrs. A. Petersen, of Hunga Hunga. between Te Aroha and Waharoa. is no ordinary farm dog. He likes to dress up, ride a tricycle, bring in wood, and take tea to his master on any part of the Petersens' 140-acre farm.
Home Bequeathed to Mission A freehold property at 24 Arney Road and £SOOO in shares were bequeathed to the Mission of the Good Shepherd under the terms of the will of Mrs. Amv Beatrice Campbell, of Remuera, Auckland, who died on May 22. Concern at the very small response of relations and next-of-kin to the demands for blood transfusion was expresse by the secretary of the Wellington branch of the National Blood Transfusion Service. Mr. C. E. Meachen. He said that during the past 12 months only 16 relatives had given olood at the Wellington Hospital.
