THE EYES HAVE “HAD IT"
(11 a.m.) LONDON, Mar. 30. Dir. Ness Edwards, Post-master-General, made a plea today to letter writers to take pity on the postal sorters. It has been found that multicoloured airmail envelopes—prized by stamp collectors as “surrounds” for their best stamps—give postal sorters eyestrain and headache. *So the Postmaster-General has asked manufacturers to stop the production of that type of,envelope.
