Gisborne Couple Arrive In London
Dr. and Mrs. W. M. Tucker, who left Gisborne some time ago for Britain, a: ,r * now living in a London flat. Dr Tucker’s mother, Mrs. W. H. Tucker Kahutia Street, has received a cutting from a Welsh newspaper describing an interview with her son and daughter-in-law during their recent visit to Wales. The interest taken by the Welsh people in New Zealand and its people is evident throughout the account of the interview. Questions asked the visitors covered the social, economic and geographical aspects of this country. and Mrs. Tucker, who was born in London. Is enthusiastic in her .praise of New Zealand. Dr. and Mrs. Tucker intend staying two or three years in Britain before returning to New Zealand.
