NEXT CONFERENCE OF CARRIERS FOR GISBORNE
(P.A.) INVERCARGILL. March 23. The business of the annual conference of the New Zealand Carriers’ Federation closed in Invercargill today. The next conference, it was decided, would be held in Gisborne. Mr. J. H. Moon of the Auckland Master Carriers’ Association, was re-elected president for the third successive term. Mr. R. A. Witbrock. of Christchurch, was elected vice-president.
The newly-elected council comprises Messrs H. O. England. (Auckland Master Carriers). C. J. Mahan (Auckland Owner-Drivers). R. A. Witbrock and M. K. Loherv (Christchurch), W. W. Watt and W. J. Winefield (Otago), F. E. Bognuda and L. J. Lyons (Wellington). E. Jacobson (Hutt Valley), R. S. Dulhie of Oamaru, and T. M. Gracie, of Invercargill (other South Island association) and C. A. Kerse of Gisborne (other Norm Island association).
