CATTLE BREEDERS’ NEW PRESIDENT
At the recent annual meeting of the Gisborne Stud Beef Cattle Breeders’ Association the following officers were elected:—
President, Mr. G. S. Bridge; vicepresident, Mr. C, E. Matthews; council, Messrs. A. W. Mossman, C. H. Hooper, R. G. Hine, and F. E. Humphreys; auditor, Mr. M. J. White. Several speakers spoke in high terms of the work the outgoing president, Mr. Matthews had put into the affairs of the association during the past two years, and previously as secretary. It was decided that the 1950 Hereford fair should be on September 12 and 13. A general meeting in June will decide the dates of the Aberdeen Angus fair this year.
