Dutch and French Consular Buildings Seized In Peking

WASHINGTON. Jan. 15.

The State Department said today that the Chinese Communist authorities took over the Dutch and French consular buildings in Peking about the same time as they seized the United States consulate.

Latest reports from Mr. Edmund Clubb, United States Consul-General at Peking, said the Chinese had been very courteous in their treatment of Americans at the consulate.
