NEW YORK, Sept. 4. The United States Davis Cup singles players Schroeder and Gonzales will light out the national singles title at Forest Hills.

In the semi-finals today, Schroeder beat Talbert 2—6. G—4, 4 —6, 6 —4, 6—4 and C-onzalcs beat Parker 3 —6, 0 7, G—3. o—2.

S'-breeder had a hard battle to defeat Talbert whose precision in the early stages contrasted with Schroeder s erratic stroking.
