OBITUARY
MR. ALBERT JOHN FORD
The death ocurred on Sunday morning at the Cook Hospital of Air. Albert John Ford, aged G 3, 62 Centennial Crescent. Mr. Ford was a patient sufferer and had borne a lengthy illness with fortitude.
The deecascd was born in New Plymouth, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. F. A. Ford. His calling was that of a draper, and he was for a time, emplayed in his father’s firm of Messrs. Grey and Ford. Karangahape Road, Auckland. He married in Auckland Miss Florence Agnes Todd. Coming to Gisborne about 25 years ago, Air. Ford joined the staff of Messrs. Hallenstein Brothers and was later employed by the Melbourne Cash. It was not long before his health deteriorated and he was medically advised against indoor employment. Later he joined the outside staff of the ■Gisborne Borough Council. The many friends of his family will extend their sympathy to his sorrowing widow, three sons, Messrs. F. K. and R. G. Ford. Gisborne. Mr. K. A. Ford, Napier, and daughter, Aliss Joy Ford. Gisborne. Mr. Ford is also survived by two brothers. Messrs. R. G. and \V. E. Ford, Auckland, and two sisters. Airs. C. W. Muir. Gisborne, and Miss R. M, Ford, Napier. A service will be conducted at Cochrane’s chapel, Williams Street, at 2 p.m. tomorrow.
