TRAIN PASSENGERS CAN HELP Protect Track Workmen From Unnecessary Danger The Railways Department reminds train travellers that it is a punishable offence to throw bottles or other objects from any railway carriage. Carelessness of this nature is a source of danger to railway track workmen and the co-operation of passengers is sought in checking any instance of the kind which might come under their notice. Aerated water bottles and the like should be left in the places provided on station platforms or if taken into carriages, placed on the floor under a scat.
