(P.A.) CHRISTCHURCH. Sept. 5. The New Zealand Metropolitan Trotting Club held the- final dav of the National meeting at Addington on Saturday in fine weather before a good attendance. The track was fast. Double figures were paid by Black Diamond in the Metropolitan Stakes and by County Antrim in the Queen Mary Handicap. An inquiry was held into the running of County Antrim in the Queen Mary Handicap compared with its form in the Heathcote Handicap on the first day.' After hearing the evidence the stipendiary stewards unanimously decided to take no action. The totalisator handled £153,104. compared with £157.828 10s on the second day last year.
