Showing superiority in both backs and forwards. Marist defeated High School on the High School ground by 11 points to nil. Marist were on top all the way and their form shown was up to the best junior _ standard. B, Donovan, at second five-eighth, fre-
quentiv cut the defence to ribbons, and played an outstanding game in the winners’ back line. For Marist tries were scored by J. Penny, M. Lynch and R. Ferris, and T. Riley converted one of them. The referee was Mr. A. Sutton.
