TRIBUTES TO WORK OF PIG SUPERVISOR
Tributes to the work of Mr. H. A. Hopkins, who has resigned from the position of supervisor of the > Tairawhiti District Pig Council, were paid by various speakers at the annual meeting of the council yesterday. Mr. Hopkins was in the employ, of the council for a number of years. The success of a pig council centred round the ability of the supervisor, Said the chairman of the council, Mr. H. B. Bull. «•» r f, . Referring to Mr.- Hopkins’ service to the council, Mr. Bull said that he had carried out his duties with distinction.,
