While visiting Melbourne in the course of his recent holiday visit to Australia Mr. E. F. O’Brien officiated as a representative of the Gisborne Savage Club in conveying to Mr. A. Zachariah a small gift of “bottled sunshine” bearing the autographs of his former associates in the club. He found Mr. Zachariah in good health and full of pleasure concerning both the gift and the messages of goodwill from Gisborne. Mr. Zachariah was full of reminiscences concerning his old-time activities in the district and sent his warm compliments to friends in Gisborne and along the East Coast, where he contributed materially to the lighter side of life for many years before taking iis family to Australia.
