RAILWAYMAN KILLED IN FALL ON SLEEPER
(P.A.) CHRISTCHURCH, May 7. A railway worker suffered fatal injuries at Omihi yesterday. He was: Mr. Ratawiri Pokai, single, aged 37, of Reporua. N
Mr. Pokai was assisting to remove rails and sleepers. His crowbar slipped and he fell heavily on a sleeper, breaking his neck.
