U.S. IGNORES SOVIET PROTEST OVER PACT
WASHINGTON, April 6. The United States will officially ignore Russia’s formal protest against the North Atlantic Pact. The State Department said today; “The Soviet Government’s interpretation of both the objectives and the provisions of the pact is erroneous.” It aded that in view of the many published .statements already made on the subject it was not believed that any further statement was necessary.
