Tractor Driver Dies From Accidental Shot
(P.A.) CHRISTCHURCH, April 8. A tractor driver who suffered a severe shotgun wound in the abdomen about 6 p.m. yesterday died three hours later. He was: Mr. Keith William Wootton, aged 26, single, of Cheviot. Mr. Wootton was driving.a tractor on the property of his employer, Mr. C. Morrison, of Parnassus. He had a loaded shotgun on the tractor with him. When the tractor stalled, the shotgun slipped off and discharged.
