ANNUAL MEETING OF MANGAPAPA PARENTS
Activities for the forthcoming year were discussed at Tuesday night’s annual general meeting of the Mangapapa Parents’ Association. Mr, F. Mcßreen was elected to the chair. Members of the incoming committee are:—Mesdames W. O. Burke. A. Chapman, D. Wood, L. Compton, V. Butler; Messrs. D. Wood, F. Foster, A. Chapman, V. Butler, and G. Muir. The committee is to launch a campaign to enrol new members for the association through the medium of a house-to-house canvass.
The programme for the year includes parents’ visits to the school, a guest night, and a concert based on the cultural work of the year. Following the conclusion of business three instructional films, as used in the school, were shown to an interested audience.
