BELGIAN REDS’ AID FOR SOVIET PLEDGE
(9.35 a.m.) BRUSSELS, Mar. 7. M. Edgard Lalmand, secretarygeneral of the Belgian Communist Party, said in-a speech at the party’s general committee that Belgian workers would welcome the Soviet Army in its pursuit of imperialist aggressors into Belgium. In a resolution the committee declared that Belgian Communists would not take part in a war of aggression against the Soviet. The resolution described as absurd any suggestion that the Soviet would provoke war.
