DICKISON KNOCKS OUT FITZWATER
(P.A.I DUNEDIN, Mar. ,T Showing superiority in all departments, lan Dickison, 10.4, Dunedin, beat Noel Fitzwater, 10.3, Hastings, by a knock-out in the sixth round of a 10round professional boxing match in the Town Hall last night. There was a minor demonstration when the referee, Mr. V. Parker, raised Dickison’s hand, for many apparently thought that Fitzwater had beaten the count after going down to a vicious left hook. He began to rise when the referee reached seven, but his glove had not cleared Ihe mat at the full count.
