CANON L. G. MANNERING, Bristol, England, and Mr. N. S. Atkinson, Pahiatua. were guests at yesterday’s luncheon of the Gisborne Rotary Club. MR. GEORGE F. ROX, manager for the Amazing Mr Rooklyn Magical and Vaudeville Company, is at present in Gisborne completing arrangements for the forthcoming season here. MR. R. McGLASHEN, vice-president of the Gisborne Rotary Club, Mr. R. F. Gambrill, past district governor Mr H. F. Wise, past president, and Messrs' A. F. Salmon and A. Russell, Gisborne Rotarians. are attending the annual Rotary conference being held in Auckland this week. Following the Rotary assembly Mr. Wise will attend a conference of Community Art Service committees in the Auckland Province.
