Homlea Arrives Safely: No Sign Of Leak
(P.A.) WELLINGTON. Mar. 5. The collier Holmlea arrived at Wellington this morning from Westport and was described by her owners as “quite dry.” The Holmlea was recently towed to Westport with water in her holds and no explanation has been found as to how the water got there.
Her trip to Wellington with 600 tons of coal was satisfactory. The exterior of the Holmlea will be examined while she is in Wellington.
