RUSSIAN INSULT TO AMERICAN WOMAN
FRANKFURT, Mar. 4. Eight members of the Soviet repatriation mission left Frankfurt for the Soviet zone early this morning in three cars with two trucks carrying their luggage.
The Soviet soldier-driver of the first truck to leave leaned over and spat in the face of an American woman spectator.
Six American soldiers expelled from the Russian zone of Germany have arrived in Berlin without knowing why they were ordered to leave, says the Associated Press. They were members of American graves registration units. It is believed that the Russians told them to go in retaliation for the expulsion of the Soviet repatriation mission from the American zone.
