RAILWAY SHUNTER KILLED BY TRUCKS
(P.A.) TIMARU, Mar. 7. Caught in a rake of trucks, a shunter employed in the Timaru railway yards received fatal injuries on Saturday afternoon. He was crushed and then fell to the ground, a wagon passing over his legs. He was Mr. Ernest Maurice Dash, aged 33, married, of 11 Trafalgar street, Timaru. After receiving medical attention in the yard Mr. Dash was removed to the Timaru Public Hospital. He died soon after admission. He is survived by his wife and three children.
