GISBORNE DANCER HAS FURTHER SUCCESS

The young Gisborne dancer, Mr. Pal Corbett, who recently received an associate diploma in Latin-American denying from the National Association of Teachers of Dancing, London, ha? gained further distinction with tho receipt of the associate diploma of the ballroom branch of the association.

He passed the examination recently in Wellington, his teacher being Mr Jimmy James and the examiner Miss Margaret Michael. N.A.T.D. While in Wellington Mr. Corbet) also took a course of English jive and ”svving blues.” which is not a jitterbug type of dancing, but a new, modern rhythmic type of dance which is accepted for examinations in the LatinAmerican branch in place of the tango, if pupils so desire.
