Unruly Ninnid Barred
From Adelaide Races (10 a.m.) ADELAIDE, Dec. 21. The New Zealand-bred horse Ninnid a hot favourite for the Port Adelaide Cup to be run next Wednesday, was yesterday banned from running in flat races in the metropolitan area. The South Australian Jockey Club committee, acted on the recommendation of the starter, Mr. D. Wallace, following the unruly behaviour of the gelding in the Challenge Stakes, at Cheltenham Park on Saturday. Ninnid was bought as a stud proposition but it was now known in Adelaide at the time that he was a gelding. Cargeonel and Attley will not be permitted to start unless from an outside stall or a similar device.
