Eisenhower To Advise U.S. Defence Chief
(9 a.m.) NEW YORK, Dec. 16. General Eisenhower, president- of Columbia University, will return to Washington as military adviser to Mr. James Forrestal, Secretary of Defence, next month.
General Eisenhower will assist Mr. Forrestal in presenting a military programme to Congress. General Eisenhower will be on leave from Columbia for an extended period.
