Horse Champions At The Royal Show
(P.A.) INVERCARGILL, Dec. 17. Improved weather favoured the final day of the Royal Show and there was a good attendance. The grand parade again attracted much attention. The remaining championship awards are:
Clydesdales—Male. J. S. Anderson’s (Waimatuku', Mac’s Crest; reserve, Logan Brothers’ (Gore) Royal McQuaid; female, A. Carruther’s (Middlemarch) Salome; reserve, T. W. McKenzie’s (Isla Bank). Working draughts—Champion: W. A. Moffet’s (Balclutha) Duke; reserve Allison Brothers’ (Milton) Mac.
Jumpers—Royal champion: J. L. Parson’s (Hakataramea) Ginger Jack. Harness horses —Champion: C. S. Elms (Timaru) Adorian; reserve. Misses E. and M. Walkers (Outran!) Modern Maid.
Harness ponies—Champion: J. and R Lilley’s Starlet; reserve. Miss B. Tatham’s (Dacre) All Black.
