KRAMER TROPHY FOR TENNIS UMPIRES

(P.A.) WELLINGTON, Dec. 16. The conditions under which the trophy given by the American Jack Kramer to the New Zealand Lawn Tennis Umpires’ Association is to be competed for are outlined in a letter to Kramer from the N.Z.L.T.U.A. president, Mr. L. T. Donovan. The suggested trophy will be called the Jack Kramer Trophy to be for the best all-round performance of umpiring at the New Zealand championships, to be open to any New Zealand badgeholder of any affiliated association. The trophy is to be held by the winner for one year and competed for annually. each winner to receive and retain a miniature cup.
