Two P.B. Cricket Teams Selected To Meet Waiapu Elevens
The representative elevens for the home-and-away fixtures with Waiapu teams this week-end were notified by the selectors, Messrs. W. A. Blair, R. II Cook, and T. M. Warner (Senior B) and E. W. Cilham, P. Moscrip, and D. Dale (Second Grade!, and formally approved at this week's meeting of the management committee of the Poverty Bay Cricket Association.
the Senior B representatives are to meet the Waiapu reps, at the Gisborne Oval, while the P.B. Second Grade team and trie Waiapu B side try conclusions on the Ruatoria ground. The P.B. Second Grade team is to travel by special conveyance leaving Pollard’s Gisborne depot at 6.30 a.m. Mr. W. Thornton lias been appointed as player -manager. The teams announced are:
P.B. Senior 15.—E. Foster (captain), N. Summcrsby (vice-capt.), J. Hepburn L. Maclnnes, R. Woon, D. Scholium, B. Brebner, 11. Koldsworth, G. Elliott, G. Harris, T. Kelly, Kennedy (twelfth man).
P. 15. Second Grade.—B. Scholium (captain), Green (vice-capt.), A. Richardson, C. Pollard, J. Penny, J. McGachie, W. Thornton. P. Blair, L. Duncan, H. Barbour, A. Birrell.
