ANGLO-SPANISH TRADE AGREEMENT
(10 a.m.) . LONDON, Dec. 15. Conversations on financial and trade matters between Britain and Spain, which were started in Madrid at the end of October, were recently resumed and have ended successfully, it is announced in London.
It is hoped that the trade and payments in both directions will in future flow more freely, says the Treasury. The existing Anglo-Spanish monetary agreement has been abrogated and replaced by a sterling payments agreement which will be signed today.
