PUBLIC SERVANTS DISPUTE STATEMENT
(P.A.) WELLINGTON, Dec. 15.
"The central committee of the combined State service organisations has directed me to state that none of the member organisations is a party to today's proceedings befox-e the Post Office's Staff Tribunal,” said Mr. J. Turnbull, secretary of the combined State service organisations, in a statement.
“The representatives of the Post Office Association do not in any way represent any of the other service organisations,” said Mr. Turnbull. “On the contrary, the central committee still adheres most firmly to the view that the reports of the Margins and Anomalies Committee are properly ones for implementation by the .Government. “In furtherance of this view the combined organisations are asking the acting-Prime Minister, Mr. W. to discuss with them again the question of coming to an immediate decision in view of the further intolerable delay which reference to successive tribunals would entail," said the statement.
