FOUR JAP. ADMIRALS SENT TO PRISON
(10.30 a.m.) YOKOHAMA, Dec. 13. Four former admirals in the Japanese Navy were today sentenced to prison terms ranging fom eight to 20 years for the responsibility in the deaths of more than 1100 people on Allied ships sunk by Japanese submarines in the Indian Ocean and South-West Pacific. Passengers and crews were machinegunned after surviving torpedoings.
