New Uranium Field In South Australia
(10 a.m.) ADELAIDE, Dec. 14. A new find of uranium in the Peake and Denison Ranges south of Oodnedatta, was reported yesterday. At a special meeting of the Executive Council yesterday afternoon, an area of 2600 square miles surrounding the locality was reserved for Government prospectors. The find was made by an inspector of the Mines Department who brought in a sample of radioactive ore.
