CROSSING CRASH: PETONE MOTORIST KILLED INSTANTLY
(P.A.) WELLINGTON. Dec. 14. The driver of a small motor-car was killed when his car came into collision with a Taita-bound train on the Cemetery road crossing at Lower Hutt at 2.55 p.m. yesterday. He was:
Mr. Charles Frank Galliers, an electrician, of Koro Koro, Petonc.
Mr. Galliers was the only occupant of the car, which was carried over 75 yards along the line after the collision. He was flung some distance from the car following the impact.
