Play continued on the green of the Te Araroa Bowling Club in perfect weather during the week-end. In tho singles series G. A, Moore successfully defended his title. Results: Singles.—First round: G. A. Moore 22 v. J. N. Barbara 17; N. Lovegrove 11 v W. L. S. Britton 3; P. Edmonds 12 v. F Still 7. Semi-final: Edmonds 17 v. Lovegrove 3; Moore, a bye. Final: Moore 11 v. Edmonds 6.
Other games resulted: Britton 11 v Still 8; G. Tamahori 20 v. S. Dewes 13 In the only pairs game of the day Barbara and Lovegrove defeated Still and Taylor, 34-6.
