THE REV. FATHER J. McMAHON, who has been parish priest in Gisborne for the past 18 years, has been transferred to one of the largest parishes in the Auckland diocese, Balmoral. flHe is to be at his new parish on January 9 next.
MR. I’. R. BOTJLD. a former inspector of stock in the Agricultural Department, has been appointed Gisborne district inspector for the S-P.C.A. Advice to this effect has been received by the Poverty Bay branch and Mr. Bould will take up his duties this week.
