Four Killed In Chicago Hotel Fire
(10 a.m.) CHICAGO, Dec. 12. Four people were killed and at least 13 injured early today when a fire swept through the fifth floor of the Victoria Hotel in the Loop district. About, 200 guests were in the hotel, which was old and mainly occupied by low income permanent guests. A woman who escaped today had just moved in after escaping from another hotel fire two days before.
An elderly man leaped from four floors and suffered only fractured toes and a skinned nose.
