SAVED LIFE BUT ROBBED OF £5

While a beach inspector was swimming 200 yards through heavy .surf to rescue a swimmer from a difficult situation at Marouba, one. of the 40,000 people on the beach stole £5 from the shorts which he had discarded.
In fair weather during the week-end over 150,000 people thronged the Sydney benches. Lifcsavers performed 02 rescues.
