SECRET TALKS ON ATLANTIC DEFENCE PACT
WASHINGTON, Dec. 10.
Secret talks opened today on the North Atlantic defence alliance of the United States, Canada, Britain and the "Benelux” countries. A brief communique was issued after the 75-minute conference announcing that the talks, which were carried on on an exploratory basis in the summer had been resumed and added “the conversations are expected to continue for some time and no information concerning their substance will be made public until decisions may be reached.”
