NAVAL OFFICER’S VISIT TO NEW ZEALAND

(P.A.) WELLINGTON, Dec. 13. On three months’ leave from the Admiralty in London, Commander T. B. R. Woodruffe, a former 8.8. C. commentator, arrived by the Akaroa on Saturday on a holiday visit. His wife, wno is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. I. Duncan, Wellington, has not been home for 16 years. Commander Woodruffe spent three years on the New Zealand station in the cruiser Dunedin.
