The New Brighton Trotting Club's summer meeting was held on Saturday in fine weather before a good attendance. The track was dry and fast. The New Brighton Oaks, the first race of its kind for three-year-old pacing fillies, attracted nine starters and resulted in a win for Pcrpetua. winner of the Sapling Stakes last June.
